Returns

FSPL will accept returns of library material 1 day per week through the outside book return. Returns will be accepted for a 24 hour period,  beginning at 9:00am on the Tuesday, and ending at 9:00am on the Wednesday. Returns will only be accepted during this time frame, and beginning on this date.

Please do not bring your items back to the library when picking up holds or visiting the library. We cannot accept them outside of the designated return time.

Material will remain in the book return room for a 72 hour quarantine period before being handled and processed by staff.

Items checked out to you will remain on your library card for the 72 hour quarantine duration, but don’t worry – items will be checked in as soon as we are able and there will be no late fees accrued.

To help our staff process items quickly in a safe manner, please only return library items through the return chute.

All Fort Saskatchewan Public Library (FSPL) items have been quarantined for a minimum of 72 hours.

Patrons who are immune compromised or susceptible to infections should not take out items from the library.

Patrons are advised to wash hands before and after handling library materials.

Patrons are advised to avoid touching their face while reading, and to avoid sneezing or coughing onto library materials.
