The library will be closed on Monday May 18, 2020 for Victoria Day. Please feel free to call or email and library staff will get back to you as soon as possible!
To address questions as to when we will reopen: As of right now there is no plan for us to open in the immediate future. We are in phase 2 of the official relaunch strategy, but no dates have yet to be determined. We know you miss us – we miss you too!
We will continue to offer our “Used Book Curbside Pickup” service until June 5, so please fill out the form and get some fantastic used books to tide you over until we reopen. We are working on some exciting new services that we look forward to launching soon so stay tuned for details!
If you haven’t already done so, follow us on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram (@fortsasklibrary) and YouTube! We have fun programs and videos for all ages.

Due to the pandemic, we have had to make the decision to cancel the Writer in Residence for 2020 at the Fort Saskatchewan Public Library. However, Strathcona County Library and St. Albert Public Library have stepped in and are working with Conni Massing during the months of May and June. Any Fort Saskatchewan resident can still take advantage of these services through these locations. Conni can be contacted directly at firstname.lastname@example.org and more information can be found on the Metro Writer in Residence Facebook page.
