The Fort Saskatchewan Public Library Board is comprised of nine Fort Saskatchewan residents and one City Councillor. It is appointed by City Council. The Library Board operates within the mandate of the Province of Alberta Libraries Act and Regulations and the City of Fort Saskatchewan’s Library Bylaw. The Board functions as the governing body of the Fort Saskatchewan Public Library and provides citizen input into the direction of Library Services. It is accountable to City Council, the Province, and the City residents for the operation of the Library.

Have a look at what we discuss in our meetings and see our plans for the library. The Board meets at 6:30pm in the program room and all meetings are open to the public. The Board meets monthly excluding July and August.
